Another day of world cup, rehearsals and actually playing football. Feeling like a proper bloke right now! Also, it’s getting easier to play football, think I’m getting into better shape. I could barely run when I played a week ago!
Bon Jovi
Bon Jovi were wicked last night. One Republic, who were the support act, were actually really good too. I’ve got to be honest, I wasn’t expecting them to be so good! I’ve never seen the O2 arena so full though. Bon Jovi did a two and a half hour set and his voice lasted up so well. He didn’t pull back on any notes really either, he just properly went for it. High point was probably Keep The Faith which they closed with (the then did the encore which closed on Living On A Prayer, typically). My voice is feeling a bit tender today after all the singing along. I have to say though, there were a few a moves that Jon pulled that were a bit cheesy. I did cringe a number of times when he did his ass shaking stuff. It was like watching Music And Lyrics. Have you seen that film? If you haven’t you should check it out, then you’ll know what I’m on about!
Bon Jovi
I’m off to see Bon Jovi at the O2 tonight. Really looking forward to it. I’ll let you all know how it was tomorrow.
